The onsen experience fell short of expectations. cleanliness could definitely use improvement, especially after heavy usage. Also, the extra charge for the traditional onsen wasn't something I saw anywhere else in Japan, which felt a bit off. Beds in dorms seem on the hard side, not ideal for everyone's tastes, but still manageable.

The sandwiches at Okimitsu Cafe were fresh and delish, perfect for a quick bite before heading out. And watching the deer in the garden? Pure magic!

I wish I'd gone for a private room instead of the dormitory style, but honestly, it was comfy enough—especially with the private bath making it feel like my own little oasis!

The layout of the traditional room made it awkward to sleep. I felt a bit distant from the center of attractions. Also, be ready to encounter deer if the gate is left open—quite distracting during a peaceful stay!!!
